Work and Skills Partnership Board

The Regional Work and Skills Partnership Board will aim to maximise the contribution of the region's labour force to sustainable economic growth by improving skills outcomes and productivity on a demand-led basis.

The Chair of the Regional Work and Skills Partnership Board will be nominated by Yorkshire Forward, the Deputy Chair by Local Government Yorkshire and Humber. Other members will include: private and public sector employers, local authorities, and representatives from trade unions, the third sector, education and training providers, and the regional directors from the LSC and Jobcentre Plus.

This is one of the 4 Thematic (advisory) Boards feeding into the Joint Regional Board developed by Local Government Yorkshire & the Humber and Yorkshire Forward to replace the previous Boards of the now defunct Yorkshire & Humber Assembly.
