BME VCS Regional Panel Business Plan - Click on the image to download

The www.bme.org.uk website is currently unavailable. We are working to restore full service as soon as possible.

The Regional Forum has been operating the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Information Service since 2004 to support effective development of services for BME communities in the region.

During that time, regional developments have included the establishment of the BME Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Regional Panel. The Panel is supported through the work of a BME VCS Regional Programme Director and Policy and Communications Officer, who can be contacted via the Regional Forum. The Panel formally started work in December 2005.

As part of the Panel's development and to improve the BME Information Service, a website has been established - www.bme.org.uk

This website aims to:
  • communicate key policy developments with particular reference to BME issues

  • offer opportunities to share best practice

  • publicise relevant news and events

  • provide networking opportunities

  • The BME VCS Regional Panel has produced its Business Plan 2007-2010 and this can be downloaded below.

If you have any queries about the site, please contact the Regional Forum on 0113 394 2300.

The BME Information Service also comprises a postal and an electronic information service.

To subscribe to the electronic service, please send an e-mail to: yhbme-owner@yahoogroups.com
To subscribe to the postal service, please send your contact details to Regional Forum, Suite D10, Joseph's Well, Hanover Walk, Leeds, LS3 1AB.
