OUR TRUSTEES

The Officers of the Board and Elected Trustees are selected from member organisations at the AGM each year in November, by members of the Regional Forum. If you are interested in becoming involved please contact Judy Robinson for further details.

Co-opted Trustees are selected by the Trustee Board in order to ensure that the membership of the Board reflects the breadth and extent of the Forum's membership.

Stephanie Sturrock

Stephanie is from Coast & Moors Voluntary Action.

Stephanie Sturrock is Chief Executive of Coast and Moors Voluntary Action (CMVA), a VCS local infrastructure organisation in North Yorkshire. In 2007 she led a merger between two neighbouring organisations to form CMVA. Before this, she spent seven years as Managing Director of one of the UK's leading social enterprises, Shared Interest, working to alleviate poverty by financing fair trade with businesses in developing countries.

She was previously General Manager of the Association of British Credit Unions and has been a board member of other social finance organisations at an international, national and regional level. She is currently a non-executive director of North Yorkshire and York Primary Care Trust.

She is a qualified accountant, having trained in local government before moving into local economic development. Stephanie has a wide experience of social enterprise, social finance, the public sector and community regeneration.
