MEMBERSHIP FORM

Thank you for your interest in the work of the Regional Forum. The membership fee is £50 for voluntary/community sectors, £100 for others, per annum (running November to October).

Further Information on Membership Classes

Membership Year

Membership runs November to October; no reductions are made for joining part way through a year.

Full Membership

Cost £50; Full Members receive the full information service subscription and also a vote at the Forum AGM. This membership class is open to voluntary and/or community organisations providing a service within Yorkshire & Humberside and must have a recognised constitution, with rules that elect a management committee from its membership and have management committee members/trustees who are not paid by that member organisation.

• Regional voluntary or community organisations.
• Voluntary or community agencies providing an umbrella or intermediary role and providing support to other voluntary or community organisations.
• Voluntary or community organisations providing services to other voluntary agencies over the region, county or district.
• Regional branches of national voluntary or community organisations.
• Federations or groups of voluntary or community organisations.
• Local voluntary organisations playing a key role in co-ordination between voluntary/community organisations.

Full members are asked to complete an additional page of the membership form to help keep the Forum up to date on the details of their members.

Finally Full-members or the Forum are asked to contribute to the work by circulating of relevant information we send out to their members/sub-branches/service users.

Voluntary / Community Sector Associate Membership

Cost £50; Open to ALL other voluntary and/or Community groups. Members receive the same full information service subscription and are invited to the same events (including the AGM) but have no voting rights. This only requires only the first side of the membership form to be returned.

Other Associate Memberships

Cost £100; This membership is open to Non-voluntary/community sector organisations who are actively supporting Voluntary / Community Sector groups and activity; e.g.

• Statutory Departments (County, District or Local) working with or supporting Community/Voluntary Organisations or Local Authority hosted partnerships.
• Consultants or Business working with or supporting Community/Voluntary Groups.
• This also includes membership of individual persons, societies, companies, associations, local authorities and other bodies which support the objects of the Forum.

These Members receive the same full information service subscription and are invited to the same events (including the AGM) but have no voting rights. This only requires only the first side of the membership form to be returned.
